Sips & Stories: An Intergenerational Tea Party

Sips & Stories — an afternoon of warm conversation, companionship and reflection at St Ambrose Barlow

Join us for a cosy, youth-led high tea where generations meet over conversation, cakes and music. Our Young Hands of Christ will be serving homemade cakes, tea and coffee; they’ll also host gentle games like bingo and raffles. All you need to bring is yourself — and a story from your younger years to share, if you’d like. Sing a song, lead a dance, or simply listen and enjoy the company.

What to expect

• Informal, family-friendly atmosphere welcoming newcomers, families and regulars

• Short readings and brief reflections rooted in faith and everyday life

• Time to chat, remember, laugh and reflect across generations

This event especially invites our senior parishioners to share memories and help build connections with younger members of the parish. Dates and times are on the parish noticeboard — we look forward to seeing you there.
