Hello, World!
Our First Grace Note: The Story of Our New Website
Welcome to Grace Notes, a new corner of our parish website dedicated to the small, beautiful moments where God's grace touches our lives. This is a space for us to share our stories—the quiet whispers of faith, the answered prayers, and the inspirational moments that make up our journey as a community.
For our very first post, I wanted to share the story behind this new website.
This digital space was born from a simple idea: that Saint Ambrose parish home should have a beautiful and welcoming "digital front porch." The goal was to create a site that not only provides information about Mass times and ministries but also reflects the warmth, reverence, and vibrant faith of our St. Ambrose Barlow family. It is a place to connect, to learn, and to be inspired.
Every part of this site was chosen with intention. You’ll see the story of our courageous patron, St. Ambrose Barlow, woven into the very logos and colors we use—from the deep maroon of martyrdom to the gold of divine glory. We believe that beauty can lead us to God, and it is our hope that the thoughtful design of this website serves as a small testament to the ultimate beauty of our Catholic faith.
This first post is about the website's story, but the future of Grace Notes belongs to you. A "grace note" in music is a small, extra note that adds beauty to a melody. In the same way, we all have stories of grace—small moments of faith that add beauty to the larger song of our parish. Have you experienced an answered prayer? A moment of peace in Adoration? A kindness from a fellow parishioner? We invite you to share your story with us.
We pray this website will be a true resource for our parish and a beacon of Christ's light online. Thank you for visiting, and we look forward to hearing your "Grace Notes" soon.
Blessings,
