Christmas at Saint Ambrose Barlow Parish 2025

We celebrated the joy of Christmas with our warm and welcoming parish community in Swinton and Pendlebury. At Saint Ambrose Barlow we brought together the faithful from Saint Charles and Saint Mark for a season of prayer, music and fellowship. On both the Eve and Christmas morning we celebrated a Solemn Mass focused on the birth of our Lord — liturgies arranged to welcome families and children while also offering space for quiet reflection. Our worship featured cherished carols and reverent liturgical music, with opportunities for the faithful to receive the sacraments. After Mass we shared festive greetings, enjoying time together as a parish family and extending a welcome to visitors. Throughout the season we also answered Christ’s call to serve: parish outreach initiatives provided practical support and companionship to local neighbours in need. United in prayer and charity, we rejoiced in the Nativity, renewing our hope, peace and goodwill as a community of faith.
