Maundy Thursday 2026

On Maundy Thursday at St Ambrose Barlow we solemnly recalled the Lord’s Last Supper and the institution of the Eucharist, celebrating with Mass, the traditional foot‑washing, and a brief homily on service and sacrifice, followed by a reverent Eucharistic procession. After Mass the Blessed Sacrament was reverently reserved at the altar of repose for quiet prayer during the Watching until Night Prayer. Parishioners and visitors alike were warmly invited to join in heartfelt thanksgiving, humble service, and silent devotion as our community came together to begin the Sacred Triduum in prayerful unity.
