Young Hands of Christ has launched!

Young Hands of Christ, our new parish youth group at St Ambrose Barlow, took its first joyful breath this weekend.

We began with a commissioning Mass, where our young people received blessings and were entrusted with a simple, beautiful task: to serve, to learn, and to grow in faith together. After Mass the hall came alive — bright with laughter, warmed by new friendships, and buzzing with the energy of young hearts at work. Together they set to work on their first shared project, the "Hands" mural.

Painted with eagerness and imagination, the mural reaches out across the wall like an open invitation. Each hand speaks of unity, service and welcome — a visible promise that our young people are a living gift to the parish. Their prayer, outreach and friendship already bring fresh life to our community.

We give thanks to everyone who organised and supported the launch, and we eagerly await the many ways Young Hands of Christ will continue to deepen our parish life. Come and be part of it — your hands and heart are welcome here.
