Holy Mass on Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord
St Ambrose Barlow Parish joyfully celebrated the Solemnity of the Epiphany, honouring Christ’s revelation to the nations and the visit of the Magi with a reverent liturgy, prayerful music and a warm welcome that blessed the new year through Scripture, rites and Eucharistic devotion.
The Mass invited all to receive a blessing and to share the Epiphany message of hope and peace; through readings recounting the Magi’s journey, prayers for guidance and reflections on pilgrimage and mission, we considered the star that led the wise men, the gifts they offered, and the gift of Christ given to every people.
Our observance called the parish to renew its commitment to recognise Christ in others and to bring his light into homes, workplaces and neighbourhoods by prayerful witness and acts of service. Parishioners and visitors alike were warmly encouraged to join us as we seek truth, offer our gifts and share the light of Christ within the wider community.
A blessed Epiphany to all!
